Hypnotherapy

Anyone who can follow instructions and who wants to be hypnotised can be hypnotised.

Clinical Hypnotherapy has proven itself effective for millions of clients for many years. While it may not be for everyone, if it works for you it might just do more for you in a period of weeks than other methods could do over a period of years.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is a procedure during which a qualified Hynotherapist gives the patient carefully worded instructions to follow, with the goal of helping the patient enter a state of deep relaxation. In this state, the 'hypnotized' patient is aware of everything that is going on yet at the same time becomes increasingly relaxed and absorbed in using his or her imagination as directed by the Hypnotist.

People respond to hypnosis in different ways, including;-

  • Deep feeling of relaxation
  • Concentration on everything the Hypnotist says
  • Focused attention
  • Detachment and inward focus
  • Heightened perception
  • Vivid focus

Frequently hypnotists teach their patients self-hypnosis methods that they can employ on their own to reinforce and continue the process of positive change.

Clinical hypnosis is employed for treating a very long list of problems, including Addictions, Alcohol dependency, Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Compulsions, Depression, Drug Dependency, Habits, Nail Biting, Over-eating, Panic, Sleep disorders, Smoking & Weight Loss or Gain.
